Ashland Surgery Center opened in 2004. Bill Epstein, MD and Rob Ewing, MD performed the first cataract surgery at the center. Craig Chow, MD provided gastroenterological services, and Mark Greenberg, MD provided pain management care. Over the years, the surgeons and staff of Ashland Surgery Center have served thousands of patients, always with the same vision: high-quality, state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical procedures in a comfortable, personalized, and cost-effective outpatient setting.

Today, we continue to evolve and expand our surgical offerings. We routinely perform eye surgeries, including cataracts, glaucoma, and cosmetic procedures; plastic and reconstructive surgery, including breast augmentation; and general surgery and gastrointestinal procedures, such as colonoscopies. Because we are focused on a specific set of procedures and perform them hundreds of times, we know how to get you optimal results.

We are also proud to expand our medical staff, including Jeff Welder, MD and Jared Fredrickson, MD, ophthalmic surgeons; Margo Herron, MD, plastic and reconstructive surgery; Vivian Schiedler, MD, ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery; and Monte Stewart, MD, general surgery.
